 We are currently looking for a Part-time/Casual Bilingual Pyramid Consultant.

 Pyramid Consultants are generalists, providing a range of professional presentations and workshops, as well as consultation in clinical, educational and home settings across Canada. We specialize in consultation that is, a) carefully tailored to each individual and situation, b) practical in nature, and c) continually updated based upon the latest research. We focus on teaching the principles and skills needed to design effective communication systems and behavioural programs so that those we consult to can begin to function more and more independently over time.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in relevant field (e.g., speech pathology, behavior analysis, special education)
• Prior attendance at a PECS Two-Day Training workshop conducted by Pyramid Educational Consultants, Inc.
• Considerable experience utilizing PECS and behavioural strategies (eg., the Pyramid Approach to Education) in one or more settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills as our consultants work with a wide variety of professionals, paraprofessionals, and families.
• Effective group facilitation and presentation skills, along with experience in adult education.
• The ability to travel across Canada (approximately 3-4 days per month) and be comfortable traveling alone.
